Responses

Responses. How do you respond to a situation?

The reason why I bring this theme is that nowdays we are faced daily with challenges, situations, problems, or conflicts that put us in an uncofortable position and if we do not know how to respond accurately, things may not go so well. Let me tell you a recent personal story, A few weeks back I was looking for a groomer for my two Shih-tzu puppies and on my way home from running errands I see this van which is a mobile groomer that goes to your house I wrote down the number and when I got home I called it. Now, this is not the point. When the guy arrived a few days later my pups had a couple of small knots that could be easily treated with a brushing. Long story short, He shaved off the hair in their ears, face, and tail. (You may not know this but Shih-tzu's have long hair in all of those areas) The man never asked us if they had allergies or made us sign a contract of anything so if we wanted to sue him we could. I'm just giving you an idea of the situation. We payed the man and he went on his way. We could have taken another course of action but we didn't and now a little Bible verse for you.
"Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man."
Well, something I want to leave you guys thinking about is that sometimes we will be the only Bible that someone will ever read. Our actions and responses are important. Let YOUR speech reflect a spiritual heart.
